Focus of Centre:
The Centre provides a fully co-ordinated approach to ICT as a learning route for disabled adults. With qualifications from Entry 1 through to Level 3, and specialist support with ICT related job/training search, the centre will allow people with the widest range of abilities to develop their skills at their own speed and both develop and achieve their goals through increasing independence.

People with learning difficulties, physical disabilities, mental health problems or a combination of these.
The Technology
24 fully interactive networked PCs. The equipment can be modified to ensure easy access and comfort for all through the use of height adjustable workstations, larger monitors and touch screen monitors. Furthermore, there are 4 dedicated Information, Advice and Guidance PC’s alongside a soft skills seminar room and space for confidential meetings.
Assistive Technology
A wide range of specialised software and access devices alongside an electronic whiteboard also increase accessibility.

The centre occupies the first floor of Share Community’s current premises, just off Lavender Hill, close to Clapham Junction. The building is fully wheelchair accessible and has disabled toilets.

Focus of Centre:
Based in one of London’s most deprived boroughs, The Lambeth CTEC Centre specializes in providing fast track ICT training for disabled adults looking to develop their skills. The focus is on ICT Qualifications combined with intensive Information, Advice and Guidance, work placements and further support, such as Life Coaching.

Particularly people with a mental health problem, combined with a physical or learning disability.
The Technology
12 fully interactive networked PC’s with a wide range of adaptive equipment and software. Fully connected and working in partnership with the CTEC Centre in Wandsworth to provide co-ordinated support and training opportunities for the students.

Any other information
The Centre is based on the 1st Floor of the Lambeth Accord building, close to Brixton Town Centre. The fully accessible building is also home to a range of other organisations providing support services for disabled people in Lambeth.
