Focus of Centre:
The object of the Centre is to provide people with disabilities access to assistive computer technology for training in vocational and life skills, to improve their quality of life, employability and independence.
The Clients
Any patient in the centre can now have access to a PC, regardless of their level of injury – in particular patients with high-level injuries and limited arm and hand movement. From voice-activated software, to a head tracker device, patients can now benefit from one to one adaptive assessments, thereby facilitating independent access to the many social benefits of IT.
