Focus of Centre:
Provide sessions consisting of varying levels of I.T and Multi media including Photography and Desktop publishing. The centre also has a model office environment to equip students with the relevant skills to access the world of work and for them to gain work experience. To also Work in partnership with Connexions and Cheshire East Adult learning Disabilities
The Clients
Fulltime learners, day centre clients, drop-in clients. Some students will be accessing just certain sessions and some will attend full time. Our client group have Epilepsy, Autism, Aspergers, challenging behaviour and varying degrees of learning and physical disabilities.
The Technology
Bank of 6 idesks, 2 stand alone height adjustable pc’s, photo copier/fax/printer with adaptations for persons in wheelchairs and physical disabilities, Digital, easy to use cameras and camcorders, plasma screen with smart overlay, adobe Photoshop & page maker and pinnacle movie editing. Also standard office equipment (shredders, trimmers, laptop, etc)
Assistive Technology
Big keys keyboard, switches, Claro read & Oxford reading pen, communicate sym writer, intellikeys keyboard, roller ball mouse, relevant software.

Opening hours:
Initially Monday – Friday 8.30-4.30, with a view to extending to some evening sessions and possibly a day at the weekend.

We could take on some of the networks promotional work or some administrational work
