Focus of Centre:
The aim of the Karten CTEC Centre at QAC will be to equip users with the latest IT skills to enable them to find fulfilling employment outcomes as well as for leisure uses. The Centre will provide vocational training and/or qualifications in information and communication skills suitable for a wide range of industrial and commercial environments.
The Clients
QAC students would include those with visual impairment and/or other disabilities including mental health, sensory, physical and learning disabilities.

QAC is situated within Harborne, a leafy and pleasant suburb of the UK’s second city. It has easy access to New Street Station and major motorway networks. The Karten CTEC Centre will be a purpose built single storey building on the QAC campus with its own entrance and identity. The design of the building will take account of lighting and colour contrast as well as accessibility for wheelchair users and guide dogs.
