{"id":11,"date":"2016-10-27T19:48:25","date_gmt":"2016-10-27T18:48:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/dev.karten-network.org.uk\/esafety\/?page_id=11"},"modified":"2018-04-18T12:15:32","modified_gmt":"2018-04-18T11:15:32","slug":"about","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/karten-network.org.uk\/esafety\/about\/","title":{"rendered":"About"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>The East Midlands E-Safety Project was funded by the Learning and Skills Improvement Service (LSIS) Flexibility and Innovation Fund.<\/h2>\n<p>The project aims to improve e-Safety for all learners with learning difficulties and disabilities.<\/p>\n<p>\nThe main purpose of the project was to:-\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>involve learners in the production of support and guidance materials that they feel comfortable using;<\/li>\n<li>produce training materials for staff;<\/li>\n<li>produce guidance for parents and carers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\nThe project started in January 2011 and completion date was 7th September 2012.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nThe <a href=\"http:\/\/www.em-esafetyproject.co.uk\">current project website<\/a> will be maintained and  updated for at least two years, until 31st August 2014.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nIn the meantime funding is being sought to extend and expand the project.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nFor further information about the project please contact Dawn Green: <a href=\"mailto:dawn@karten-network.org.uk\">dawn@karten-network.org.uk<\/a>\n<\/p>\n<p>\nThe project partners are all Independent Specialist Colleges (ISCs) and members of the East Midlands Peer Review and Development (PRD) Group.<\/p>\n<p>\nFind out more <a href=\"http:\/\/dev.karten-network.org.uk\/esafety\/partner-colleges\/\">about the Partner Colleges<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The East Midlands E-Safety Project was funded by the Learning and Skills Improvement Service (LSIS) Flexibility and Innovation Fund.
