Services/focus of the Karten Centre
Our Karten Centre is located in the heart of our education facilities, and is equipped with workstations with a range of assistive technology. It also contains a revolving accessible Kardex library system. Our Karten Centre provides a mix of open access, and time-tabled sessions, and is available to all learners and staff throughout the week, during evenings and at weekends. A separate room, located near our Reception area, houses our StarPrint social enterprise, providing learners with vital IT and employment skills training. The printing equipment to set up StarPrint was funded by the Karten Trust.
