In partnership with Fife Society for the Blind used for assessment for local people with visual impairment.
Equipment can be used in College for student with visual impairments. (not been used in past 2 years, equipment currently in west wing)

Karten Centre Staff
No dedicated staff within the Karten Centre – equipment transferred to students areas within college or study centre for use.
One member of the Fife Society for the blind also uses the centre but this is on an ad-hoc basis.
Karten Centre Hours
Campus open 9am - 6pm. The Karten Centre is open as required during this period.

Not currently used due to change in students accessing college. If we had a wider range of equipment/technology it could be used by students with other disabilities and we could offer access and training for people within local community.
